Refund policy

▼ Refund of annual membership fee
The Service will be provided on a yearly basis (advance payment of annual membership fee).
The Service is not a service that is provided sequentially according to the service period, and is a service centered on providing various benefits from the start of the service period.
Therefore, please note in advance that, after the service period is started, we will not refund the annual membership fee that you have paid.

▼ Wrong products and initial defects
If the product that was delivered to you is different from what you ordered (wrong product) or is defective (initial defect), we will accept returns and exchanges of a defective product only if you contact us in the following manner within 7 days from the date that you received the product.
After you return the wrong product or initially defective product to us according to our prescribed procedures and we confirm the wrong product or initial defect, we will ship you a replacement product.
As we will cover the shipping cost when you return the wrong product or initially defective product to us, please send it to us by “cash on delivery”.
Please note that we will not refund or reimburse the shipping cost if you return the wrong product or initially defective product to us by shipping prepaid.
We will refund the product price, including consumption tax, only if you have purchased the product for a fee and we are unable to send you a replacement product.

In the case of a wrong product or initial defect, please do not use it and take the following procedures within the specified period. We may not be able to accept returns or exchanges for products that have already been used or after the lapse of the period indicated below.
(1) Within 7 days after receiving the product, please contact us regarding the condition of the product using the inquiry form or via “fc-support@virtual-entertainment.co.jp”. Our staff will then provide instructions to you on how to exchange the product.
(2) Please return the wrong product or initially defective product to us by the date specified in the instructions.
(3) After confirming receipt of the wrong product or initially defective product, we will take measures to replace it with the ordered product or non-defective product.

Otherwise, please note that we may not be able to accept returns or exchanges in the following cases.
・If you have lost the delivery slip or other document or warranty card as the proof of purchase.
・If the product shows signs of use, such as damage, stain, or odor.
・If the tag is missing or damaged.
・If accessories such as the box, cloth bag package, or novelty item are missing.
・If the condition of the product you wish to return or exchange is otherwise different from the time that it was delivered to you.
・If you received the product as a gift through a third party in the form of a used product or as a present (please contact us using the inquiry form or via fc-support@virtual-entertainment.co.jp”).
・If the product is a special sale product, limited product, pre-ordered product, or custom-ordered product.

*We cannot accept returns or exchanges from anyone other than you.
*Please note that you cannot receive refunds at a convenience store.
*We will determine whether your product is eligible for exchange or refund at the time that you contact us or after you return the product to us. Please note that, in certain cases, your product may not be eligible for exchange or refund.
*If we determine that your product is not eligible for exchange after you return the wrong product or initially defective product to us and we check that product, we may return the product to you at our cost.
*Please note that the shipping cost for the initial shipping of the product will not be refunded.

▼ Returns and cancellations other than those described above
We cannot accept your request for any cancellation, return or exchange due to your convenience. ▼ Refusal of reception, long-term absence, or insufficient address
If a product is returned to us due to your refusal of reception, long-term absence or insufficient address that results in the expiration of the storage period at the delivery store, we will store the product at our company for a period of 3 months from the date of shipment (however, we may set a different period for each individual product).
You can request the redelivery of the product if it is within the foregoing period. If you wish us to redeliver your product, please make sure to contact us using the inquiry form or via “fc-support@virtual-entertainment.co.jp” during the foregoing period.
You will be required to pay the shipping cost for redelivering your product. Please pay the shipping cost according to our instructions.
If you do not comply with our instructions or refuse to receive the product that you ordered, please note that we will not accept your refund request.
After the lapse of the storage period, we will deem that you have no intention of receiving the product that you have purchased, and we may deem, at our discretion, that you have cancelled the order for your product and have no intention of receiving your product.
In such a case, if you purchased the product for a fee, we will charge you, as the cancellation fee and return handling fee, the entire amount of the product price and shipping cost that you have already paid. We may also bill you for any damage that we incur for handling the return of your product.
If we are unable to deliver the product to you before the lapse of the storage period due to reasons attributable to you, we may suspend your eligibility to use the Service.

*The storage period of 3 months (however, we may set a different period for each individual product) may vary depending on the circumstances. For the detailed storage period, please check the redelivery instructions from our staff.

▼ Method of refund
If you pay by credit card and a refund is required, as a general rule, we will refund the amount to your credit card. However, if we are unable to refund the amount to your credit card due to unavoidable circumstances and you are required to pay a fee under the contract with the credit card company, we will not additionally refund such fee.
Even if you make a payment in a foreign currency using an overseas-issued credit card, we will refund the amount in Japanese yen, and we will not compensate for any difference caused by exchange rate fluctuations.

▼ Cooling-off system
Products purchased through mail order are not subject to the cooling off (unconditional cancellation) system prescribed under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.
