Privacy Policy
Virtual Entertainment Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “we,” “us” or “our”) will handle the personal information of users (hereinafter simply referred to as the “Users”) of our services (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Services”), our business partners (hereinafter simply referred to as the “Business Partners”), and other personal information that we acquire in the following manner. In addition to this Privacy Policy, we may establish the special handling of personal information of Users for each of the Services (hereinafter referred to as the “Individual Regulations”). In the foregoing case, the Individual Regulations will constitute a part of this Privacy Policy, and if there is any contradiction between the two, the Individual Regulations will prevail. Furthermore, as we will amend this Privacy Policy as needed, Users who wish to use the Services must read the entire text of this Privacy Policy before using the Services.
Article 1. Acquired Information
The information that we will acquire in order to achieve the purposes of use set out in Article 4 (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Acquired Information”) includes the following information.

The following personal information (meaning the “personal information” defined under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information):
- name, date of birth, gender, occupation (including job title), and other information that can identify a specific individual;
- information such as address, telephone number, account information (such as email address and password), and nickname that is used in connection with specific personal information;
- payment information such as credit card information, cryptocurrency or blockchain wallet addresses;
- hobbies, family structure, age and other personal attribute information integrated with personal information;
- information related to identity verification; and
- information about the individual acquired in relation to the use of the Services or transactions.
- Information related to the User’s use and browsing of the Services, such as the content of the Services used by the User, the date and time of use and number of times that the Services were used, and the User’s online behavior when using the Services (including cookie information, information on usage such as access logs, information on the device used, location information, IP address, browser information, browser language and the like).
- Information regarding the payment status of Users and Business Partners regarding the Services or business relationships.
- When using the Services, if the User permits linking with external services such as social networking services, the ID used by the User in the external service and information that the User has permitted disclosure to the linked party through the privacy settings of the external service.
Article 2. Method of Collecting Acquired Information
We will collect the Acquired Information according to the following methods:
- method of having the User directly enter information in the Services;
- method of having the User provide information to us in person, via email, postal mail, in writing, or phone call (when talking with Users over the phone, we may record the conversation to improve the quality of our customer service);
- method of collecting information when the User uses or browses the Services; and
- method of indirectly collecting information from the Business Partners and third parties.
Article 3. Management of Acquired Information
Our employees who are engaged in the management and use of the Acquired Information will strictly manage the Acquired Information and endeavor to handle the Acquired Information with the utmost care in the course of their work to prevent unauthorized access to or loss, leakage, or falsification of personal information.
Article 4. Acquired Information
We will use the Acquired Information appropriately within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes notified or announced when acquiring/collecting the Acquired Information, the purposes set out in the Terms of Service and other policies and regulations, or the following purposes. We may change such purposes of use within the scope that is reasonably deemed to be related to the purposes of use before the change, and in the event of such change, we will notify the Users, post a notice on the Services or on a website operated by us, or otherwise make a public announcement in an easy-to-understand manner.

- To communicate and provide information regarding various matters related to the Services
- To provide the Services
- To simplify the input of information required when registering as a User for the Services
- To share information between the Services that the User has applied for
- To confirm applications for email distribution services and to send emails
- To confirm and deliver purchases related to the Services
- To make and confirm billing and payments related to the Services
- To send rewards for the User’s cooperation in surveys
- To send prizes for contests that the User has participated in
- To investigate and analyze the status of use of the Services
- To improve and enhance the content of the Services to provide greater satisfaction, or to develop new services
- To prevent fraudulent activities that disrupt the normal provision of services (including discovering and notifying Users who are breaching the Terms of Service and other policies and regulations, as well as investigating, detecting, preventing, and responding to fraudulent activities such as fraud and unauthorized access that misuse the services, etc.)
- To customize the content of the Services to suit the User
- To research customer satisfaction of the Services
- To collect and publish statistically processed Acquired Information as survey results
- To provide information and notifications regarding the Services, new services, and other various services
- To request cooperation in surveys and participation in various events, and to report their results
- To distribute or display our advertisements or those of third parties
- To distribute or display product information within services provided by us or third parties
- To resolve problems related to the operation of the Services and to comply with laws and regulations
- To perform communication, consultation, order placement and acceptance, settlement, and other business execution and management regarding transactions with us
- To manage business partner information
- To prevent fraudulent activities that disrupt normal transactions
- To provide information and notifications regarding the Services, new services, and other various services
- To resolve transaction-related disputes and comply with laws and regulations
- To provide employment and recruitment information, conduct recruitment selection, and confirm application history
- To contact applicants and respond to inquiries from applicants
- To provide information about recruitment-related events and seminars hosted by us
- To create statistical data to be used in formulating our future recruitment policies and the like
- To resolve recruitment-related issues and comply with laws and regulations
- To notify and contact Employees
- To perform the employment management of Employees (payment of remuneration, implementation of personnel and labor management, provision of employee benefits, and the like)
- To manage the health of Employees and ensure a proper working environment
- To provide employee benefit services and handle various insurance procedures and the like for Employees
- To submit notifications and reports to government agencies regarding Employees
- To resolve Employee-related disputes and comply with laws and regulations
Article 5. Joint Use
We may jointly use the Acquired Information in the following manner.

Article 6. Provision of Acquired Information to Third Parties
In the following cases, we will provide the Acquired Information to third parties to the extent permitted by law.
- When providing information on the Services in order to provide the Services. Note that some of the Acquired Information may be made public on the Services or provided directly to Users to the extent permitted by law. In such cases, Users will use the published or provided Acquired Information in accordance with the Terms of Service of the Services and only to the extent necessary for the use of the Services.
- When providing personal information to delivery companies, payment agents, subcontractors, or other third parties for the purposes of product delivery, payment settlement, responding to inquiries from Users, inquiries from us to Users, and providing related after-sales services or the like.
- When we are requested to provide the Acquired Information by a court, administrative agency, supervisory authority or other public institution based on laws and regulations.
- When it is deemed necessary to provide information in order to resolve disputes with third parties or to protect the rights and interests of Users of the Services or third parties.
- When providing personal information to a third party consigned by us to investigate and analyze the status of use of the Services.
- When providing personal information to third parties for the purpose of delivering or displaying our advertisements or those of third parties.
- When we deem it is necessary to provide the Acquired Information and have obtained the User’s consent.
- Other cases where provision of the Acquired Information to a third party is permitted by law.
Article 7. Consignment of Handling of Acquired Information to Third Parties
We may consign all or part of the handling of the Acquired Information to a third party within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use set out in Article 4. In doing so, we will thoroughly screen whether the third party meets our selection criteria, and when entering into a contract, we will ensure that the Acquired Information will be managed appropriately.
Article 8. Information Related to Personal Information
For improved convenience, such as automatically inputting email addresses when logging in to the Services, and for the purpose of investigating and analyzing security protection, status of use of the Services, and advertising effectiveness related to the Services, we may incorporate information collection modules selected by us, such as Google Analytics, and obtain cookies, device type, device identifier, browser type, referrer, IP address, and other advertising identifiers (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Information Related to Personal Information”).
These information collection modules collect Information Related to Personal Information without including information that identifies individuals, and the collected information is managed in accordance with the privacy policies and other regulations established by each information collection module provider. However, we may use Information Related to Personal Information such as cookies obtained from the information collection module provider by linking it with personal information already in our possession.
If you do not want your data to be collected by Google Analytics or other information collection modules, please refuse the use of your data in the manner specified by Google Inc. or each information collection module. However, if you prohibit the use of personal information such as cookies, you may be restricted in that you cannot use the Services properly or that advertising settings that require personal information cannot be reflected.

Article 9. Information of Users Who are Minors
If the User is a minor, the parent, guardian or legal guardian must agree to the contents of the “Privacy Policy” and the Terms of Service and other policies and regulations, and must give comprehensive consent to the User’s use of the Services in accordance with the “Privacy Policy” and the Terms of Service and other policies and regulations.
Article 10. Improvements and Updates to this Privacy Policy
We will appropriately review the operational status regarding the handling of information of Users, and will revise this Privacy Policy from time to time in response to changes in laws and regulations, business needs, and other factors. If we revise this Privacy Policy, we will notify the Users. Therefore, the Users should be sure to check the latest version of this Privacy Policy before accessing or using the Services.
Article 11. Procedures for Disclosure, Correction or Suspension of Use of Personal Information
With regard to measures such as the disclosure, correction, deletion, or suspension of use (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Disclosure, etc.”) of personal information (including records of personal information provided to a third party) on the Services, we will only accept requests from the individual or his/her agent in accordance with the prescribed method separately specified by us. However, if we are not obligated to do so under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws and regulations, if the same request is repeated without a valid reason, or if excessive technical work is required, we may not be able to carry out these procedures.
If you request the Disclosure, etc. of personal information, you may be required to submit identification documents and pay a disclosure fee in accordance with the provisions separately specified by us.
